Billed as the world's largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380 has been the centre of attention worldwide since she was first announced, which is why this double-decker airliner's remarkable specifications are not going to be repeated here.

Coffeehouses are mushrooming in Chiang Mai as drinking coffee at trendy places has become a fashionable lifestyle for its residents.

Apart from being a place to relax and enjoying hot and cold drinks, meeting friends or conducting business meetings, one can hardly go to their favourite coffeeshops with empty hands. As wireless internet services are provided, more and more working people, university students and expats are being spotted carrying their own computer notebooks to continue their work, check their mail and negotiating business at the coffeeshouses.

As an accomplished and renowned concert pianist, Ms. Naiyana Nagavajara's weekends are booked up solid by aspiring young piano students. She also teaches every evening of the week. That leaves Aed, Ms. Naiyana Nagavajara's nickname, with all her week days to pursue her favourite pastimes of bird watching, paintings and drawings, and meditation.

A Rich Man's Hobby

Pasakorn Yenpanya, or Jiap, now in his forties, has been introduced to the hobby of radio controlled model airplanes since the age of eight by his father who was an aviation police officer and a fervent fan himself. With his family, Jiap moved to Chiang Mai about ten years ago and decided to open a specialized hobby shop five years ago due to the inability of finding spare parts and accessories for his own models and by popular demand from other local and regional fans.
